For some women, owning their own home can feel like a distant dream. There can be an assumption that buying on one income, particularly with children or plans to become a mum, automatically means home ownership is out of reach.
In this expert session, we’re joined by mortgage broker Amie Parker from She’s Got the Keys Mortgage Solutions.
Amie will explain how lenders generally assess home loan applications and some of the factors that can influence borrowing capacity and serviceability, including income, living expenses, existing debts, dependants, your deposit and lender policy.
